KTWH – Two Harbors Community Radio will host its 9th Annual Harvest Moon Gala on Saturday, November 14, beginning at 5:00 PM on the main floor of The American Legion (614 First Avenue, downtown Two Harbors). This public, wheelchair-accessible event is an annual fundraiser for non-profit Two Harbors Community Radio and a community celebration featuring a silent auction, live music, and a taco bar and dessert dinner.
Make sure to purchase your tickets early. Reserve dinner ticket sales end Sunday, November 8th.
Event Schedule:
- 5:00 PM: Social hour and silent auction bidding open
- 6:00 PM: Taco Bar opens (prepaid dinner reservation required)
- 7:00 PM: Live music begins with hometown band Generations, followed by Shore Thing
- 8:30 PM: Silent auction closes
- 9:00 PM: Event concludes
Silent Auction Highlight: In addition to dozens of high-quality and unique items, this year’s silent auction features a significant piece of Two Harbors history: the Big Dipper stars from the Paul Gauche Bandshell, built in Thomas Owens Park in 1937. Attendees can bid on six smaller stars. The names of the winning star bidders will be placed in a drawing for the larger seventh star. Special thanks to the City of Two Harbors for making this acquisition possible, and to Lovin’ Lake County for their ongoing support.
Ticket & General Information: Dinner and dessert reservation tickets may be purchased online at ktwh.org or in person at the KTWH radio studio, located in the Harbor Landing Building (629 7th Ave., Two Harbors).
