Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to make a recommendation to the Lake County Board of Commissioners on October 19, 2026, at 5:15 P.M. in the Law Enforcement Center, 613 Third Avenue, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, a renewal application for Interim Use has been filed by Cliff Pointe Ventures LLC, which, if approved, would allow a short-term vacation rental home at 1825 Cliff Point Rd, Two Harbors, MN 55616 and legally described as East Two Hundred (200) feet of the West Six Hundred Fifty (650) feet, lying South of centerline of U.S. Highway No. 61 of Government Lot Three (3), Section Twenty-two (22), Township Fifty-Three (53), Range Ten (10) West, Lake County, Minnesota. Subject to mineral reservations of record. Subject also to road easements of record, 2.03 acres, zoned shoreland R-4/Residential in the NSMZ and Erosion Hazard Area 4 on Lake Superior (General Development), Silver Creek. PID: 29-5310-22400.
