Lake County Historical Society
The Lake County Historical Society held a special event at the Depot Museum on Wednesday, April 12th to honor two long-time board members, Dory Pearson, and Ken Sandvik as they retire from the board.
Dory Pearson has been on the board for over 20 years. In that time, she has served as board president, vice president and secretary. Ken Sandvik has also served for over twenty years, and most recently as vice-president.
The two were presented with plaques commemorating their service to the Society at a casual gathering in the depot museum.
Current board president Sam Gangi said regarding the retirements, “Dory and Ken have been key members of our organization. Their contributions through the years have been instrumental in the development of the Society’s relationship and commitment to this community, they will be sorely missed”.
