The 32nd Annual Two Harbors Art Fair

The 32nd annual Two Harbors Art Fair took place August 14–16 outside the Earthwood Inn, just off Hwy. 61 in Two Harbors. Despite a few moments of questionable weather, the weekend was a resounding success.

Over 30 artists from across Minnesota showcased a wide variety of work, including ceramics, fiber art, jewelry, paintings, woodwork, glass, and more. Several returning artists noted that this annual North Shore tradition is a highlight of their season. It provides a wonderful opportunity to share and sell their creations. I found it difficult to leave empty-handed and managed to pick up a few unique items for my cabin, along with a couple of gifts.

The Two Harbors Art Fair, formerly and still commonly known as the Under the Spreading Walnut Tree Art Festival, is an annual outdoor summer event held at the Earthwood Inn.

The event’s success is largely thanks to former planners and organizers. Currently, Christine Williams is the planner and has been for several years now. Each year, Christine works tirelessly to curate a diverse mix of talented artists and ensure the event runs seamlessly.

If you missed the summer art fair or loved it so much you want to return, you will have another chance this fall. The autumn art fair will also take place outdoors at the Earthwood Inn during the following dates and times:

  • Friday, September 25: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, September 26: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, September 27: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Don’t miss your chance to support these incredible local artists!
