Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on July 13, 2026 at 1:30:00 PM, in the Law Enforcement Center; 613 3rd Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616, at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from the shoreline setback to expand a nonconforming cabin (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12 Section 7.03A). The property in question is located at 1588 Driftwood Lane, Two Harbors, MN 55616 and legally described as Outlot 1, County Auditor’s Plat No.4, according to the recorded plat therefore, Lake County, Minnesota. Abstract property; 1.4 acres; shoreland R-4, Residential in the NSMZ on Lake Superior (General Development), Silver Creek. PID: 29-5367-29010.
