NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAND USE ORDINANCE OF LAKE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.

Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on May 11, 2026 at 1:30:00 PM, in the Law Enforcement Center; 613 3rd Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:

In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from the ROW setback from a platted road and from the porperty line setback to build a garage (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12 Sections 6.01 and 14.01E). The property in question is located at 14077 Klos Py Rd, Ely MN and is legally described as LOT 9 BLOCK 1 & AN UND 1/13TH INT IN OUTLOT B (ROADWAY) + AN UND 1/15TH INT IN OUTLOT C (ADDL .69 ACRE) in Section 16, Township 63, Range 11; 0.6 acres; RR ResidentialRecreational, Fall Lake Township. PID: 28-6316-01090.
