April 10, 1938 – February 15, 2026
David H. Anderson, 87, of Two Harbors, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at Aspirus-St. Luke’s Hospital.
Born on April 10, 1938, to Harold and Elsie (Westman) Anderson, David grew up in Crosby, where he attended and graduated from Crosby High School. Following his family’s move to Silver Bay, David began his career as an electrician at Reserve Mining then Northshore Mining, dedicating many years of service until his retirement.
He was a devoted member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. His home was a reflection of his character; he took great pride in maintaining a beautiful yard and garden, yet it was the time spent with family that truly brought him joy; always attending events for his children and grandchildren, taking immense pride in their achievements.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Elsie; his beloved wife, Jan; his brother, Dennis Anderson; and his brother-in-law, Ronnie Gregg.
He is survived by his son, Tim (Kristy Dupree); daughter, Jill (Gavin) Bopp; grandchildren, Ethan and Rachel; a sister, Donna Gregg; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Anderson; as well as many nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memories in their hearts.
Dave’s family would like to especially thank Heidi Nelson for her loving care and friendship these last few years.
Visitation for David was held from 12 Noon until the 1 PM funeral service on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. To share a memory or leave an online condolence visit www.cavallinfuneralhome.com.
