The Two Harbors community rocked out when Teague Alexy opened the Catch the Wave Music Stage events on Sunday August 17, followed by the Kettle River Trio. If you missed out, or even if you didn’t, there are still more Catch the Wave events coming soon to stages near you.
Music and community will come together in the scenic Clover Valley as KTWH Community Radio brings the Catch the Wave Music Stage to the 2025 Clover Valley Farm Fest. On Sunday, August 24, from noon to 4 p.m., festival-goers can enjoy an afternoon of live, local Minnesota-grown music at Agate Acres Farm, 1109 Two Harbors Road.
The stage will feature a variety of talented artists, kicking off with the Born Too Late Acoustic Duo, whose harmonious melodies have made them a favorite on local stages. Following them are solo performers Skarlett Woods, Hannah Rey, and Tim Nelson, each bringing their own distinctive sound to the farm fest crowd. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Minnesota music or discovering local talent for the first time, the lineup offers something for everyone.
KTWH’s Catch the Wave Summer Live Music Series has been a staple of local summer events, providing free concerts to the community thanks to the support of listeners and sponsors, including Lovin’ Lake County, Anderson’s Greenhouse, and Castle Danger Brewery. While the concerts are free, donations are welcome to help sustain KTWH Community Radio, which has been keeping the airwaves alive in the area since 2015.
If you are looking to enjoy even more music this summer, the series continues with a final bandshell concert on Saturday, August 30, featuring Tres Osos and Mike Munson from 3 to 5 p.m. The event is family-friendly, and attendees will even receive free ice cream or frozen treats from the Two Harbors Moose Lodge.
The season culminates with a special milestone: KTWH’s 10th Anniversary Catch the Wave Bash on Sunday, September 21, at Castle Danger Brewery. A decade in the making, the celebration will feature the lively Big Dave Wave and the Ripples, with opening performances by Briand Morrison and Roxann Berglund, performing as Rox ‘n Soul. The anniversary bash promises music, fun, and a chance to celebrate the radio station’s community-driven mission over the past ten years.
For those attending the Clover Valley Farm Fest, the KTWH Catch the Wave Stage is more than just a concert, it’s an opportunity to connect with friends and neighbors, enjoy fresh air, and experience Minnesota music in a beautiful rural setting. With a mix of acoustic, folk, and contemporary sounds, the stage offers festivalgoers a chance to discover new favorites and support local artists.
