In younger boys hockey news, the North Shore Storm Pee Wee team hosted a home tournament on February 2nd. After victories over the Northern Stars, Sauke Centre, and Farmington, the boys advanced to face Rock Ridge in the championship game. They overcame the Wolverines, taking first place in the tournament.
The team, made up of players from Two Harbors, Silver Bay, and Grand Marais, has had an outstanding season, as highlighted in previous issues of the Northshore Journal, including when they hit a 19-game winning streak. Their recent tournament victory marks their fourth championship win of the season.
