Grand Marais, Minn., August 14, 2023 –WTIP Community Radio invites the community to join us at the 2023 Radio Waves Music Festival, Sept. 8th to 10th, at Sweetheart’s Bluff in the Grand Marais Recreation Area. This marks the 25th birthday of WTIP Community Radio and the 16th year of this family-friendly festival.
Twenty-two local, regional and national acts will take the stage this year, including R & B legend John Ellison and The Carpenter Ants, who will perform a 90-minute gospel set on Sunday morning of the Festival. Here is the complete schedule of performers:

A favorite of visitors and area residents as well as performing musicians, Radio Waves is held rain or shine – with two stages housed under a large tent – and includes on-site food vendors. WTIP offers pre-sale weekend passes online. Admission, also available at the gate, is $20 per day, or $40 for the full Festival. Admission is free to children 12 and under. Campsite reservations at the Grand Marais Rec Park are recommended.
