North Shore Storm Girls 10U team won the District 11 Championship, beating Proctor/ Hermantown Blue 5-0 in the championship game. They finished the season with a record of 22-12-1.
“I couldn’t be more proud of these girls! They came to the rink everyday with great attitudes and very eager to learn and get better. We had a very difficult schedule, playing 10 games against teams ranked in the top 15 in the state. We took a few lumps early on, but playing those top teams made us better as a team. Once we got to playoffs, we were playing our best hockey! Those girls earned every bit of success that they achieved this year!” proudly boasted Coach Gus Engstrom.
