The Peewee B1 Regions are being held at Silver Bay’s very own Frank Rukavina Arena (129 Outer Drive, Silver Bay) March 3rd-5th. As the District 11 #2 seed, the North Shore Storm Peewees will play on Friday, March 3rd at 8:00 p.m. vs District 16 #2 seed East Grand Forks. Winner of that game will advance to the 10:00 a.m. game on March 4th.
The North Shore Storm Girls 12U team won the 12U B District 11 Championship and a ticket to regional playoffs. This year, girls 12U regions are being held at Sonju Arena (301 8th Ave., Two Harbors) March 3rd-5th. As the District 11 #1 seed, they will play on Friday March 3rd at 4:00 pm vs District 16 #3 seed Bemidji. Winner of that game will advance to the 12:00 p.m. game on Saturday, March 4th.
Get off your couch, grab your winter jacket, a couple friends or family members and head on over to “the Ruk” to cheer on the North Shore Storm Peewees as they take on East Grand Forks in Silver Bay or Sonju Arena as the North Shore Storm 12U Girls tighten up their laces against Bemidji! It’s a Minnesota tradition.
