In a February 2, 2024, North Shore Journal article (North Shore Girls Hockey Celebrates Senior Surge), the seniors on the North Shore Storm girls hockey team were spotlighted and celebrated for their accomplishments and the tight-knit bond they had formed over their years of skating together. It was a difficult article to write, as I wanted it to be a great tribute to a group of seniors who really deserved one.
In my haste to deliver by the ever-looming deadline, I made an error in team names when there was mention of a “Mariners JV team.” The article should have read “North Shore Storm JV team”. Thank you for your patience in any confusion that may have caused.
Also, in attempting to fit as many details as possible in a sizeable article, there were glaring omissions that were a result of when I cut, pasted and moved stuff around. Not all the names of the girls were in the final edit and they should have been. I appreciate the patience and understanding of the seniors, their parents, and their fans as we correct this important detail.
