I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU and kudos to the music teachers at the Minnehaha. You are doing an amazing job with the students this year, and what you are teaching them is reflected when I work with them at their music lessons. It’s a lot of work to keep a classroom of enthusiastic students focused and engaged. Your use of multiple learning styles helps make what you teach stick, and I’ve borrowed a few of your tricks to use with my other music students. Allowing those who take music lessons to demonstrate in class has boosted their confidence and value as musicians. Thanks for taking the time to give all students the opportunity to learn music foundations so that when the door opens for them to play an instrument or sing, they are ready to fly.
