Joan’s long goodbye journey ended on Mother’s Day 2024. She peacefully departed this world at Waterview Shores in Two Harbors. Joan was born in Crookston Minnesota on November 5, 1955. She is preceded in death by her parents, Erlin and Lorraine Hendrickson and sister Brenda Hendrickson.
Joan’s first love was her family, but quilting and sewing were her passions in which she was extremely accomplished.
She is survived by her husband James, daughter Molly (Ryan), grandchildren Anja, Magnus and Soren, older sister Lori (Ken) and many nieces and nephews.
