Gordon “Corky” Bradford Lundquist, 79, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18th at his home in Mesa, AZ. Corky was born July 21st 1943, to Mary Jane Schuyler & Gordon (Cork) Lundquist.
Corky joined the Navy right out of high school. When he returned home, he went to work for Reserve Mining for many years until they shut down. He & Louise then moved to the Twin Cities for many years until retiring to Arizona, which he loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise, and close friend Betty Gurule.
He is survived by his son Michael (Mary) Halter of Two Harbors, granddaughters Michelle & Missy of Duluth, great grandchildren Brea & Alexa, sister Dorothy (Larry) Eliasen, niece Lori, nephew Cory & 2 special nephews, Jeff & John which Corky & Louise referred to as their “bonus sons”.
