The City of Silver Bay is required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminates on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets health standards. During the month of March 2025’s monitoring period, we did not complete all required individual filter turbidity monitoring and combined effluent monitoring properly, to the satisfaction of the State of Minnesota Department of Health, and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of your drinking water during that time.
