Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to make a recommendation to the Lake County Board of Commissioners on May 22, 2023 at 1:15 p.m. in the County Highway Department Building, 1513 Highway 2, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, a renewal application for an Interim Use permit has been filed by Kevin Wilkinson which, if approved, would allow continuation of a short-term vacation rental home on property located at 1696 Highway 61, Two Harbors. The property in question is legally described as: Outlot 15 of Gov’t Lot 1 in Section 28, Township 53, Range 10, according to the County Auditor’s Plat thereof, which plat is now on file and of record in the office of the Lake County Minnesota Register of Deeds, Book C of Plats, page 16, LESS and EXCEPT that part lying N and W of Centerline of US Hwy 61; 1.33 acres, zoned shoreland R-4/Residential district, two-acre minimum, Silver Creek Township.
