Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on May 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., in the Law Enforcement Center; 613 3rd Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from the shoreline setback from two designated trout streams and the property line setback to construct an addition to a non conforming house and garage (Land Use Ordinance #12, Section 7, Article 7.03 & Section 12, Article 12.01D). The property in question is located at 6129 Hwy 1, Silver Bay MN and is legally described as Outlot B of County Auditor’s Plat No. 15, of Government Lot 2, Section 4, Township 56, Range 7; 2.4 acres; zoned shoreland (Baptism River & Lindstrom Creek), R-3/ Residental District, 2.5-acre minimum, Beaver Bay Township.
