Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the County Law Enforcement Center, 613 Third Avenue, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from bluff setback requirements and shoreline setback requirements to a designated trout stream for an existing dwelling and deck (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, Article 7, Section 7.03). The property in question is located at 5527 Midbrod Drive, Silver Bay MN 55614 and legally described as: NE-¼ of NW-¼ of SE-¼, Section 21, Township 56N, Range 11W containing 9.86 acres more or less, subject to easements, as described in Document 141224 on file and of record in the Lake County Recorder’s Office; 9.86 acres, zoned shoreland (Palisade Creek), R-4/ Residential District, 2-ac minimum, Beaver Bay Twp. PID 26-5607-21800.
