The Lake County Planning Commission sat in session at 5:00 p.m. on this date and conducted hearings and other business.

I-25-002r– Motion by Sve supported by J. Ernest to recommend to County Board 5-year approval with conditions of a renew­al interim use application for a vacation rental home filed by Marguerite Cutchey at 1615 Hwy 3, Two Harbors MN 55616. The property is described as: That Part of Lot 2 as desc in memorial in Cert of Titles 34 pg 72, That Part of Lot 2 as desc in Bk 45 of Titles pg 243, & That Part of Lot 1 as desc in Bk 45 of Titles pg 243, all in Section 29, Township 53, Range 10, 5.12 acres, zoned shoreland (Stewart River & NSMZ), R-4/ Residential District, 2 acre minimum, Silver Creek Township. The prop­erty is described as: That part of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 desc in Doc A000193649 in Section 21, Township 53, Range 10, 2.52 acres, zoned shoreland (NSMZ), R-4/ Residential District, 2-acre minimum, Sil­ver Creek Township. PID: 29-5310-21145. Motion carried; Hoops, Sve, Bathke, J. Ernest, and B. Ernest voted in favor; none opposed. (PCR-25-003)

The property is described as: Lot 7 in Section 28, Township 63, Range 11, 2.55 acres, zoned shoreland (Garden Lake), RR/ Residential Recreational District, 1 acre minimum, Fall Lake Township. PID: 28- 6376-28070. Motion carried; Hoops, Sve, Bathke, J. Ernest, and B. Ernest voted in favor; none opposed. (PCR-25-004)

PID: 27-5707-26250. Motion carried; Hoops, Sve, Bathke, J. Ernest, and B. Ernest voted in favor; none opposed. (PCR-25-005)

C-25-002– Motion by Bathke support­ed by J. Ernest to table until April 21st at 5:30 pm in the Lake County Law Enforcement Center, 613 Third Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616 for a conditional use application for the establishment of a campground with 49 RV sites filed by Gooseberry Property LLC at 3197 Hwy 61, Two Harbors MN 55616. The property is described as: Lot 1 Block 1, Lot 2 Block 1, & Lot 1 Block 2 in Section 28, Township 54, Range 9, 41.4 acres, zoned shoreland (NSMZ), RC/ Resort Commercial District, 2 acre minimum, Silver Creek Township. PID: 29-5469-01010 / 01020 / 02010. Motion carried; Hoops, Sve, Bathke, J. Ernest, and B. Ernest voted in favor; none opposed.

Motion by Bathke supported by J. Ernest to approve the February 24, 2025 minutes as submitted. Motion carried; Hoops, Sve, Bathke, J. Ernest, and B. Er­nest voted in favor; none opposed.
