The Lake County Planning Commission sat in session at 5:00 p.m. on this date and conducted hearings and other business.

I-23-039– Motion by Hoops supported by Bathke to recommend to the County Board 5-year approval with conditions of a renewal interim use application for a vacation rental home filed by Nicky Torkzadeh at 413 Swanson Road, Two Harbors on property described as: Lot 7 Block 1, Larsmont Lakeview Plat; Section 20, Township 52, Range 11; Unorganized Territory #2, 5.7 acres, zoned non-shore­land, R-3/Residential, two and a half-acre minimum. PID 25-5280-01070. Motion car­ried; Hoops, Sve, Bathke, J. Ernest and B. Ernest voting in favor; none opposed. (PCR-23-048)

I-23-040– Motion by Sve to recom­mend to the County Board 5-year approval with conditions of an renewal interim use application for a vacation rental home filed by Jack Dickinson at 650 Corner­stone Ridge Rd, Two Harbors on property described as: That part of the NW1/4 of NE1/4, Section 16, Township 52N, Range 11West, less the east 220 feet thereof, as described in document T000046803; zoned R-3, non-shoreland,10.7 acres; 2.5-acre minimum; Unorganized Territory #2. A000161583 in Section 18, Township 52, Range 11, zoned shoreland, R-1/Res­idential, ten acre minimum; 15.79 acres; UT #2. PID: 25-5211-18670. Motion car­ried; Motion carried; Hoops, Sve, Bathke, J. I-23-041– Motion by Bathke supported by B. Ernest to recommend to the County Board 5-year approval with conditions of an interim use application filed by North­land Constructors of Duluth, Inc for contin­uous borrow and pit operations (previously approved C-97-012) and establishing Concrete & Asphalt Recycling; Aggregate Crushing, Screening, Washing, & Dewa­tering; and Portable Asphalt Plant oper­ations on the property legally described as: SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 in Section 27, Town­ship 58, Range 8; Beaver Bay Township; 40 acres; zoned shoreland FR Forest/ Recreation, ten acre minimum. C-23-009– Motion by Hoops support­ed by B. Ernest to approve with conditions a conditional use application filed by Sweet Baby Properties, LLC that would allow for a Campground with up to 12 RV sites at 2817 Stony Loop Rd, Isabella MN 55607 on the property described as NE1/4 of NW1/4 of SW1/4 in Section 32, Town­ship 60, Range 9; 10 acres; Stony River Township zoned non-shoreland FR/Forest Recreation, ten acre minimum.
