LAKE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES TWO HARBORS LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER JULY 8, 2024

The Lake County Board of Adjustment sat in session at 1:00 p.m. on this date and conducted hearings and other business.

V-24-009– Motion by Hoops supported by Fogelberg to approve the request with conditions for relief from the road setback of Hwy 61 to construct a shed (Land Use Ordinance #12, Article 6, Section 6.01) filed by David Brasel. The property in question is located at 1812 Hwy 61, Two Harbors MN 55616 and is legally de­scribed as: Outlot 4 of Lot 2 & Outlot 3 of Lot 2 in Section 21, Township 53, Range 10 2 acres, zoned shoreland (Lake Su­perior), R-4/Residential District, 2 acre minimum, Silver Creek Township. PID 29-5362-21040 / 21030. Motion carried, Hoops, Fogelberg, and Hippert voting in favor; none opposed.

V-24-010– Motion by Hippert support­ed by Hoops to approve, with conditions, that part of the request relating to the screened front porch and to deny the re­quest related to the entryway deck. The request was filed by Denise Endicott. The property in question is located at 3346 Grouse Lake Road, Isabella MN 55607 and is legally described as: 0.57 acre out of Lot 7 as desc in Bk 92 of Deeds as Pg 178 in Section 11, Township 60, Range 9 0.57 acres, zoned shoreland (Grouse Lake), RR/Residential-Recreational Dis­trict, 1 acre minimum, Stony River Town­ship. PID 20-6009-11650. Motion carried, Hoops, Fogelberg and Hippert voting in favor; none opposed.

V-24-011– Motion by Fogelberg sup­ported by Hoops to approve the request with conditions for relief from the side yard setback to construct a staircase (Land Use Ordinance #12, Article 13.0, Section 13.01E) filed by Ann and Mark Feitel. The property in question is located at 1478 Burlington Road, Two Harbors MN 55616 and is legally described as: That part of Govt Lot 1 as desc in Doc A000170355 in Section 31, Township 53, Range 10 0.5 acres, zoned shoreland (Lake Superior), R-4/Residential District, 2 acre minimum, Silver Creek Township. PID 29-5310-31760. Motion carried, Hoops, Fogelberg, and Hippert voting in favor; none opposed.

Motion by Fogelberg supported by Hip­pert to approve the June 10, 2024 minutes as submitted. Motion carried, Hoops, Fo­gelberg, and Hippert voting in favor; none opposed.

Motion by Hoops supported by Fogel­berg to adjourn the meeting. Motion car­ried, Hoops, Fogelberg, and Hippert voting in favor; none opposed. Meeting adjourned at 3:20 p.m.
