V-25-001– Motion by Hoops supported by Fogelberg to deny the request for relief from the shoreline setback and minimum shoreline frontage to construct a second dwelling (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, Section 7.0, Article 7.02 & 7.03A) filed by Get Away Shores LLC. The property in question is located at 10660 Mitawan Lake Road, Isabella MN 55607 and is legally described as: N 110ft of S 1120ft of Lot 7 in Section 14, Township 60, Range 9 & N 110 ft of S 1010 ft of Lot 7 in Section 14, Township 60, Range 9 2.98 acres, zoned shoreland (Mitawan Lake), RR/ Residential Recreational District, 1 acre minimum, Stony River Township. PID 20-6009-14782 / 14778. Motion carried, Hoops, Fogelberg, and Hippert voted in favor; none opposed.
Motion by Hoops supported by Fogelberg to approve the December 9, 2024 minutes as submitted. Motion carried, Hoops, Fogelberg, and Hippert voted in favor; none opposed.
The last order of business was the election of Chair and Vice-Chair for the 2025 Board of Adjustment term. Motion by Fogelberg to nominate Michael Hoops as Chair and Beth Hippert as Vice-Chair. All in favor, none opposed.
