The Lake County Board of Adjustment sat in session at 1:00 p.m. on this date and conducted hearings and other business.
V-23-011– Motion by Hippert supported by Brodigan to approve, with conditions, that part of the Variance request relating to after-the-fact setback and height restriction relief for “cabin 2” guest quarters and setback relief for the lean-to behind cabin 1, and to deny the Variance request for after-the-fact setback relief for the bunk house and lake cabin guest quarters and to deny the variance request for after-the-fact setback relief for the fish house (lake storage building). The motion was amended by Hippert, supported by Fogelberg, to include additional conditions. The request was filed by Sue and Steve Johnson for the property located at 14250 Cloquet Line, Ely MN 55731 and legally described as: That pt of Gov’t Lots 4 and 5, Sec 8, Twp 63N, Rge 11W as described in Doc. 156309 on file and of record in the Lake County Recorder’s office; 7 acres, zoned RR/Residential-Recreational, shoreland (Browns Lake), 1-ac minimum; Fall Lake Township. PID 28-6311-08325. Motion carried, Hippert, Fogelberg and Brodigan voting in favor; none opposed.
