This is an unlimited (year-round) full-time (100%) position. Hours will be primarily day hours; days of work will vary and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The position is responsible for the administration, supervision and implementation of Department of Natural Resources’ and Division of Parks and Trails’ programs, activities, policies and rules pertaining to the operation of Cascade River State Park, Judge C.R. Magney State Park, Kodonce River State Wayside Park, Devils Track Falls State Wayside Park, Grand Portage State Forest Recreation Areas, and Pat Bayle State Forest Recreation Areas. This position exists to provide direct supervisory work in the management and operation of two exceptional north shore of Lake Superior state parks, recreation areas, and outdoor recreation and natural resources management programs. The incumbent directs and administers division programs, activities, budgets, and rules.
