Hermantown, MN – January 27, 2024 – The Two Harbors Soccer Club is thrilled to announce the championship victory of its U12 boys’ team at the Hermantown 3v3 indoor soccer tournament on January 27. The spirited competition saw the Two Harbors team claim the championship title by triumphing over formidable opponents, Superior and two Duluth East Select Soccer teams.
Led by Coach Shane Maxwell, the U12 boys— Teddy Braud, Landon Maxwell, Caleb Maxwell, and Caiden Swanson—displayed exceptional skill and sportsmanship throughout the day tournament. Coach Maxwell attributed the team’s success to the beneficial Winter Indoor Sessions hosted by the Two Harbors Soccer Club at Two Harbors High School. He remarked, “Our team played really well, moving into open spaces and creating opportunities, and the fun, indoor soccer really helped.”
The Two Harbors Soccer Club extends its gratitude to the Hermantown Youth Soccer Association for hosting the indoor tournament.
