The 4onthefloor Brings its Heavy Stomping Blues Rock to Silver Bay’s City Center Stage on Friday, Aug. 9th

Rocky Wall Produc­tions is pleased to an­nounce that The 4on­thefloor will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Au­gust 9th at City Cen­ter Park in downtown Silver Bay as part of the Silver Bay Music in the Park – Free Live Music Concert Series. “This band will bring its own versions of outlaw country, classic rock, and modern bril­liance to the stage,” said Rocky Wall Pro­ductions President Nelson French, “they bring an exceptional live show that will get everybody involved with their pulsating, rhythmic beat, allow­ing people of all ages succumb to the joy of music. To stomp with the 4onthefloor is to consider yourself for­tunate indeed.”

The 4onthefloor is an American rock and roll band from Minneap­olis. Formed in 2009, The group is known for each member play­ing a bass drum and for writing all their songs in 4/4 time, evoking their namesake. Their music has been fea­tured in such television shows as ABC’s Nash­ville and A&E’s Duck Dynasty, including a feature as the main theme on the Season 1 DVD. Their live show is known for keeping packed crowds in­tensely involved for an entire show, with call-and-response choruses and meaty guitar riffs.

This FREE outdoor concert will be held on Friday night, August 9th at Silver Bay’s City Center Park near City Hall. You are en­couraged to bring a lawn chair and blanket for comfort. Feel free to show up downtown any time after 6:00 pm. Emma’s Kitchen food truck plans to be on site to meet your food and beverage needs. They will be present before and during the concert. Zoe’s Pizza and Northwoods Fam­ily Grille will also be open for dinner. This is an all-weather show. In the case of inclem­ent weather, the con­cert will be moved in­doors to the Reunion Hall, 97 Outer Drive, Silver Bay.

Our fifth concert of the season will be on Friday, August 16th and will feature the return of Minnesota Country phenom Erik Koskinen. Erik is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, whose music is not categorized by sub-genres. Stylistically he is on his own while heavily influenced by American roots music. Rocky Wall Produc­tions is a Silver Bay based 501(c)(3) non­profit organization producing and promot­ing live music in Silver Bay and on Lake Su­perior’s North Shore from Duluth to Grand Portage.
