Join the Grand Marais Library for a Dungeons and Dragons Information Session
Grand Marais, MN, October 31, 2023-The Grand Marais Public Library is excited to invite people ages ten and up to an information session for a Dungeons and Dragons group, at the library from 5-6 pm on Wednesday, November 8.
Game Master Tyler Kundel will be on hand to describe his creative goals for the group and to answer any questions about the teamwork, problem-solving, and creative storytelling involved in this classic role-playing game. Other goals of the information session will be to explain how the game works, to establish the best time-slot for participants to play, and to set expectations for conduct.
Tyler Kundel is highly experienced as a game master having spent more than four decades playing and running role-playing games. Librarian Ryan Leng will be hosting the information session, as well as facilitating the group in a supporting role. Mr. Kundel and Mr. Leng will survey the interest and skill level of attendees in order to determine whether multiple campaigns will form—a youth and an adult campaign, for instance. Their intention is for the group to meet twice a month throughout the remainder of the school year. There will be no fee to join the group.
The Grand Marais Public Library’s mission is to increase knowledge, inspire creativity, remove barriers, and build community across Cook County. Our fax service is now available at the library for 50¢ per page and a $5.00 maximum.
