Two Harbors student-athlete Anders Hastings, who plays for the Agate Football team, recently raised money for the Two Harbors Fire Department (THFD) with a community Sausage and pancake Breakfast. As part of a school project, the event was organized by the sophomore and took place on December 23rd, right before an early basketball game for the school.
The food was donated by Performance Foods. There were many compliments from the seventy-five attendees who reported how good the food was and how polite the boys who volunteered for the event were.
Anders was able to donate $585, all the proceeds, to the THFD, funds that are always appreciated and put to good use.
The Two Harbors Agates football team’s Facebook Page contains a shout-out to the boys who volunteered from the football team and to everyone who supported the event by purchasing a meal and donating. A special shout-out to Anders for organizing the event!
