I studied anthropology at Hamline and have worked in archaeology and software development, having moved to Grand Marais a year ago. I’ve most recently taught technology classes at GES.”
Katie Houlihan Belanger joins as our new Development Director, and will be responsible for planning and executing our membership drives as well as developing underwriting, and fundraising initiatives. Said Katie, “Born and raised in Wisconsin, I’ve lived in Minnesota for the past 20 years, where I’ve worked in book publishing, education, and, most recently, at the Cook County YMCA. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of WTIP, an organization that has provided the insight and soundtrack to our family’s latest and most exciting chapter yet.”
Cory and Katie will be joining us on April 15. Executive Director Matthew Brown comments, “We are very excited to welcome both Cory and Katie to our team at WTIP, as their skills will bring added depth to their departments and to community radio here on the North Shore.”
