Zoe’s Pizza Kitchen Celebrates Reopening

On February 16th, Zoe’s Pizza Kitchen and the City of Silver Bay held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Zoe’s Pizza Kitchen. Zoe’s closed in 2023 for the season, and is now open under new ownership and management.

Zoe’s Pizza is now owned by Natascha Zuburev. At the ribbon-cutting, she was introduced by Isaac Giron, owner of ZenViva, LLC. “We are excited to be here serving the community! Our immensely talented team is one that is full of heart and we all pour ourselves into the food and people that support our new venture,” Zubarev said. “Locals and tourists alike deserve consistent and delicious food, created [with] love and care. Thank you for the support!”

Isaac Giron added, “We are excited to be a part of the community! We are excited to serve good food consistently! We want to serve the locals and tourists alike. We want to be a cornerstone in the community for many years to come. The more food offerings in the community, the better it is for all of us! Our amazing chef has cooked up an amazing menu that has brought life back to this old pizza joint!”

The Silver Bay Economic Development Authority is glad for Zoe’s reopening. On a seven-member board, the Economic Development Authority meets monthly for the “purpose of expanding the Silver Bay economic base while maintaining a sustainable high quality of life and a thriving small-town atmosphere.” Beth Smuk, Vice Chair of the EDA, said, “We are very excited with the progress being made in Silver Bay, and the opening of Zoe’s Pizza Kitchen is just one more piece of good news for our community.”

Silver Bay Mayor Wade LeBlanc is glad for Zoe’s. He says that anytime a new business, especially a food-centered business opens in Silver Bay, it fills a need for dining options. “It’s always good news for the community when you can announce the opening of a restaurant to serve our residents and visitors. I want to thank and congratulate the new owners of Zoe’s Pizza Kitchen for making this major investment in Silver Bay.” For current hours and menu, visit https://www.zoespizzakitchen.com or the Zoe’s Pizza Kitchen facebook page. Bon appetit!

Haley Searls
Hello! My name is Haley Searls. I’ve loved writing from an early age, though my nonfiction writing at five years old consisted mainly of weather and gardening reports. I still have some of those early articles: “It’s sunny.” “It’s still sunny.” “It’s raining.” I’m glad to say my writing has improved since then. I wrote a guest post for the Silver Bay Public Library blog, and was the writer/editor of the newsletter for my American Heritage Girls troop. I have been writing for the North Shore Journal since June 2022. Besides writing, I love reading, drawing, photography, music, and spending time with family and friends. Two books that have really influenced my writing are Reforming Journalism by Marvin Olasky and Writer to Writer by Bodie and Brock Thoene. As a journalist, I want to share positive community interactions and inspire people to make lasting connections. Article topics that interest me are ones which show community activities and involvement. Such articles include community events, youth accomplishments, library programming, small businesses, local history, local artists and authors, art programs, and cultural events such as theater and dance. If you have an article idea, email the North Shore Journal with my name in the subject line! I look forward to hearing from you!
