NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON PROPERTY IN LAKE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.

Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on March 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Law Enforcement Center, 613 Third Avenue, Two Harbors, MN 55616, at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:

In accordance with Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, an application for a Conditional Use has been filed by Castle Danger Properties II LLC, which, if approved, would allow for the expansion of the Rustic Inn operations into an existing structure to allow for the sale of food and beverages at 2777 Hwy 61, Two Harbors, MN 55616. The property is legally described as: Outlot 7, 8, & 9 of Govt Lot 3, Outlot 10 & 11 of Govt Lot 3 less that part shown as parcel 26 on MN DOT R/W Plat 38-20 (B-35 of Plats) all in Section 32, Township 54, Range 9, 10.06 acres, zoned shoreland (NSMZ), RC/Resort Commercial, 2 acre minimum, Silver Creek Township. PID: 29-5451-32130 / 32135 / 32140 / 32145 / 32150 / 32155 / 32165 / 32175.
