PRAISE FOR CLP OVER PERFECT STORM DEBACLE
During the Thanksgiving storm that went through Western Lake Superior the day before Thanksgiving, we returned from Two Harbors with our 24-pound turkey only to discover a large spruce tree had blown over, blocking our road and taking out the power to our home in Knife River.
We had 19 people coming the next day. How would they get to our home? And how could we host them without power? A call to Coop Light & Power resulted in a crew to our home, the tree removed, and power restored in less than two hours. Thank you CLP linemen!
Not all was a happy ending though, with an accompanying power surge that blew out several appliances, fluorescent and LED lights. But Thanksgiving was saved thanks to prompt response from CLP!
